Popular Kannada actor and cinema Karnataka Dr. Vishnuvardhan completely dead in Mysore 30 December 2009, due to a heart attack. He was one of the most popular actors after Dr. Rajkumar in Kannada films and movies. Kannada film industry lost a gem. The 54-year-old actress, known as Sahasasimha had complained of chest pains on Tuesday evening. But he went on around 2:30, when he was taken to Vikram Hospital in Mysore, where he was treated for a leg problem.
All schools and colleges in Bangalore will remain closed Wednesday at Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurapp orders as a sign of respect for Vishnuvardhan.
