Man spends 34 years building Toothpick San Francisco Photos

San Francisco has been done by many other artists before, but never quite like this.

Scott Weaver always dreamed that he would build the world's largest toothpick model and 34 years since he started working on it. Fast forward to today, and he still has not fulfilled his dream, but he created one of the most impressive toothpick sculptures in the world.

"Rolling through the Bay" is a 9 feet tall, 7 feet wide and 2 meters deep toothpick model of San Francisco that has 4-ping pong ball up the trails and access points. It is true that these are songs that make this wooden masterpiece so unique. To Mr. Weaver began his adventure in a world of toothpicks, by building abstract models and rolling ping pong balls on them. It just got out of hand at a time and was this wonderful model.

While rolling through the Bay "will feature some of the most famous sights of San Francisco and the Bay Bridge, Golden State Park, Fisherman's Wharf, Alamo Square and Cable Car Tours, Scott Weaver says it is only his view of the city and in contrast to more traditional models, he is rolling ping pong balls.

The toothpick model of San Francisco took over 3,000 hours to complete and over 1,000,000 toothpicks. Fortunately, much is a pack of 750 toothpicks only 99 cents, so Weaver could not say their hobby is too expensive. Ripley's Believe It or Not offered Scott $ 40,000 for his unique model, but he is not ready to discard it yet.
