Nationwide Bank Strike in 2009 Today, December 16 by the public sector bank employees to protest against the planned merger of State Bank of Indore with its parent bank SBI.Public Strike or Strike AIBEA or bank employees on strike for all of India Bank Employees' Association (AIBEA ) and All India Bank Officers Association (AIBO) will observe the strike with 4 lac behind employees.
Banks have already announced that it works, it will happen because of this strike.
During the conciliatory meeting today, the union offered to suspend the strike if the SBI management has decided to suspend further action on the merger of State Bank of Indore and the ongoing negotiations, he said, adding that "management does not agree that the strike face."
The reconciliation tool meeting with the Indian Banks' Association and the management of SBI and State Bank of Indore was held by the Deputy Labor Commissioner here.
